It’s a shame this kind of attitude towards artists comes too late as A.I. art is starting to take big strides. Companies now have a convenient option to cheap out.

My theory for why this is even an issue is that the game only allows 1 NPC model of its kind to exist in the world to save space. 

There are far more bad adaptations than good ones, so fans do have justification to be wary. 

Someone really just reinvented the wheel here.

Unless there’s a divorce and separation, I don’t think anyone can say she’s ‘alright’ or ‘fine’. Wish her the best, but staying in a relationship with someone who cyclically abuses, there’s no such thing as safety.

Sounds like this enterprise is Wayne-ing.

Genshin is a single player game and is designed as such. Because of that, you can actually run out of things to do. Patches extend the life of it, but you can reach a point where the world is empty. It’s not an MMO.

My opinion is probably what everyone else here will say. You cannot equate video games to real life. Obviously everyone has feelings.

I wonder if this means the banning of all games with gatcha systems. If there’s a time to make a statement about that, it’d probably be now.

This shouldn’t be surprising given how Microsoft as a whole is trying to push everything to a subscription model. The Xbox ‘box’ is just a means to sell Gamespass which is being pushed to as many devices as possible. It really doesn’t matter how much an Xbox is, just as long as people continue to be interested in…

No amount of money can buy you a skip button for all the cutscenes and NPC lore dumping.

Isn’t the core gameplay basically assault and battery? If you want to bring the real world into this, everyone on the roster should technically be arrested.

The only reason people are laughing at this is because it hasn’t happened to them yet.

If it were American officers, both she and her mom would be gunned down on sight. Or they’d wait it out until the would-be criminal has a double digit body count before arresting them and consequently letting them off for misconduct.

I find it odd how the most apparent (and memetic) example is missing. Sonic the Hedgehog movie’s first design was final to the point of merchandise being made. And then it got overhauled to the relief/detriment of fans/vfx employees.

I hope she’ll end up as equally bad, horrible, and morally compromised as other GTA main characters. The kind of character that you know should be sent to jail for a lifetime, but you still kind of like nonetheless. Wouldn’t be GTA otherwise.

While not a perfect fit, I feel the better move would be to go to Reddit. But I guess they went with Discord because it’s the more ‘gamer-y’ platform, despite how people actually use it.
