My father had polio as a child. He learned to walk again, but there were many falls. I know of at least 4-5 concussions; there were various lesser head injuries. What happened to my father in the end was terrible.

Yes of course all lives matter. It’s just that some lives are under greater threat than others.

I hate this idea that people who think maybe we need a few less guns are motivated by fear. No - it’s not fear, but rational concern. All you have to do is look at the facts to see what having a gun-saturated society has done to us. It’s the gun nutters who are driven by fear - even as crime goes down they need more…

They have made contact. It seems to have landed on its side. It’s not considered a completly lost cause yet.
