there is literally nothing Beshear can do. he is dealing with a veto-proof Republican supermajority legislature. the only thing that can change any of this is action by their constituents, but they love their fantasies of armed rebellion against the federal government more than the lives of their children and friends.

Our dipshit governor in TN signed a bill in 2021 that allows for adults to carry open or concealed, without a permit. Would that have changed anything in this tragic incident? Who knows, but it made it a lot easier for her I’m sure.
