This is my first time hearing about this incident and I must say that I am surprise that the jury ruled in the favor Andrew’s parents. I believed they deserve more than this amount. An officer(s) should’ve escorted the kids through the fairgrounds and ejected them through the entrance.

I really think social media influencers and kids-of-celebs-turned-social-media-influencers really need to ask themselves “Is this a new thing?” before posting it as a recently-discovered fashion trend.

“It also goes back to the Harlem Renaissance and Langston Hughes and Zora Neale Hurston,” Perry continued. “Langston Hughes said that Zora Neale Hurston was the new version of the Darky. Langston was Northern, very sophisticated. Zora Neale [was] from the South, her character spoke in a certain dialect. So this is a

Gang culture also has a big-ass footprint in this as well. Folks can’t leave it alone, even when they have lucrative careers.

If this fool (Tory) ends up being black-bagged because of his attitude and anger, I don’t want to see any press attempting to “martyr” this man. Based off his history, he’s like any other knucklehead out there, who can’t keep his hands to himself.

Ngl... This thought did come to my mind, when I heard there were students in this academy.

Even if the woman recanted her testimony, I will still believe he had assaulted her. And this is due to the fact that he is married to Nicki. She has enough unhinged fans that would actually harass and threaten violence (and possibly commit violence) to this woman.

I am most likely not the only person to notice this, but...

Honestly, in this day and age of social media, I wouldn’t be surprised if this dude is trying to get some good publicity out of this woman’s untimely demise.

The “thin, smaller waists, round hips and big booties” physique will never go out of style.

A small bit of my thinking believes colorism and latent bit of internalized racism is the reason why there are people continuing to accept the One Drop Rule. I feel like there’s something about light-skin being linked to blackness. And if the person is physically attractive and has done something admirable and

“I think for us, it’s very different because we’re light-skinned,” Markle said to Carey. “You’re not treated as a Black woman. You’re not treated as a white woman. You sort of fit in-between.”

In October 2021, Dash was candid with Dr. Oz and admitted that her first introduction to drugs was when she was just 8 years old. In addition, she claimed that her mother—who was a drug addict—gave her her first line of cocaine at 16 years of age.

Mmmm... Depends on her mother’s character and how she chose to raise her daughter.

After I read that line, I immediatly began thinking of all of the movies and films from the 80s, 90s and 2000's, which had mixed women in the films: Rae Dawn Chong, Lisa Bonet, Halle Berry, Michael Michele, Denise “Vanity” Matthews, Paula Patton, etc.

Tbh, I’ve never understood why there were people can become upset about biracial/mixed people identifying as being biracial/mixed rather than adhering to the One Drop Rule.

I can see where he is going with his point. But I also feel like the American stereotype of “British actors = superior and skillful acting” does play a role.

Well, it was either four more years of Trump or four years of Biden (while hoping there will be candidate that will be suitable by the time elections come up again).

(wondering what in the hell happened to The Root’s comment sections as of lately)
