As with any article about Real Salt Lake, I’d like to take this opportunity to remind everyone how stupid the name “Real Salt Lake” is, since it means “Royal Salt Lake” in a country with no monarchy.

My family moved from Ukraine to the US in 1996 when I was two, so I grew up eating a mix of Russian, Ukrainian and Jewish food. About 3 years into college, I realized the biggest hankering I had was smoked fish. Now, I’m lucky enough to go home twice a month and I’m always greeted with an assortment of smoked herring,

Same. While I have a habit of snacking when bored that I’m trying to quit, I don’t buy everything on the shelves when I’m hungry. If I’m not hungry, I have no idea what to buy at all for food. I’m like “but nothing sounds good. Meh. Let’s go home.”
