That thing where you spent over 70 dollars on fake fur to look as luxurious as the chest of a 70 year old dude in Boca

He needs to pluck the raven feathers.

Have you tried having 5 people chant your spell through autotune?

I’ve been watching this show. It’s on episode 10 I believe. I was curious as how it was from Netflix yet showing up on a weekly basis on showcase first. But I wonder how is it IO9 is just reporting this?

On the subject of photos; pay attention to the angles.

Or cast a Nepali actor in the role, seeing as how the location was moved to Nepal. Avoid the complications with China, but still keep an Asian actor in the role.

My only argument for a white male Strange is that the story really is about him shedding layers of unthinking privilege. If he was Latino or Middle Eastern, that sense of smug entitlement wouldn’t make quite as much sense?

Her tone-deafness really is shocking to me in this day and age. Like, how hard to you have to work at it to be so clueless?

Counterpoint: Marvel knew that Doctor Strange was going to make a bazillion dollars whether they cast an Asian actor or Tilda Swinton in the role. They may be one of the few movie studios that doesn’t have to use that bullshit economic excuse to justify whitewashing a cast because their cult following and mass appeal

What, exactly, was despicable about what they did? They didn’t dox him as they didn’t release his info to anybody. All they did was threaten to tell on him to his mom. That’s not breaking any laws, they didnt harm the child in any way, they just taught him the adult lesson that actions have consequences.

Great story. People think they can do anything because they are on the internet. That was a good lesson

the popular brunch food usually scarfed down by 20-somethings wasted on overpriced mimosas

Because “timeline” also means a sequential series of events, and during the show were were shown at least three series of events that were happening years apart, so they could be considered different event timelines. The word doesn’t have to be restricted to only being used in reference to time travel or parallel

Kara, I don’t know how to quit you.

Actually, it sounds like a drug for “male enhancement”.

IMO, that was one of the best moments of the finale. It was reminiscent of the scene in Ex Machina, but humorously well done.

I loved that. You could see him doing the mental gymnastics of decided how he felt about being a host himself. Maeve instantly understands what’s going on and just rolls her eyes. XD

Felix made me laugh out loud when he discovered Bernard was a host... and he started to do like ... the robot dance? And Maeve just eye rolled and basically went, “OMG you’re human. Stop it.”
