She overreacted too. Like it or not, sewing is widely considered to be a feminine activity. Andrew Garfield told no lie, and all the poutrage is unnecessary. Emma Stone saw an opportunity to say "Look at me, look how trendy and modern I am", and she took it. It's fake, and it's a turn off.

What use is an overly-effeminate man? They're annoying, they're bitchy, they're trouble makers, and they're generally a waste of space. It's as if you took the worst qualities from men, and the worst qualities from women, and combined them. Butch women are just as bad.

That goes both ways. WASPs don't like the term being used to refer to whites in general either. You'll often here racist blacks or Hispanics whining about "Anglos" or "WASPs" when it should be Irish-Americans, Italian-Americans, or even Jews.
