All Hillary Clinton has ever done is ride on her husband's coattails. I don't think anyone really sees her as a prevalent image of "female authority", they just see her as a horrible old shrew, who's also corrupt and unqualified to president.

Even if she ran, nobody would vote for her, so I doubt they're worrying about it. She's a truly awful person, and the only reason she's where she is today is because of who her husband is.
