I’m a Canadian who travels to the U.S. regularly. I’m not used to being around guns. Reading U.S. news makes me nervous. But the reality is I’ve never seen an American who wasn’t clearly police or military carrying a gun. Never spotted a gun in a Walmart or a coffee shop or whatever. My guess is partially the parts of

So I did New Rules of Lifting for Women and I liked it and recommend it to people and it was great to get me started on lifting. But I saw the really big changes after I started lifting with a trainer. My trainer pushes me in ways I just can’t push myself. I thought I was lifting heavy but I am doing way more than

I walk to work, but did an hour long commute over a dangerous road for six awful months. Currently I live in an expensive neighbourhood in order to be handy to work, but I think living somewhere cheaper would be a false savings after factoring in gas, parking, extra vehicle maintenance. With that much driving I think

Lazily cooked a fresh pasta and curry cream sauce from a local fancy pasta company combined with lamb sausages from a local butcher. So easy but so good and supporting small businesses in the little town where I have my vacation place.

A nice little white blend wine from British Columbia, while binge watching shark tank.

This is probably too late but I am so not a troll a d really don't want to be always grey

And my sister and I loved calamari but my dad refused to tell us what it was because he thought we would suddenly decide it was gross if we knew. I still love calamari, but my sister will only eat the rings and not the tentacles, so maybe he had a point.

I’m getting an ugly mole (just ugly, not cancerous, so a cosmetic procedure) removed from my face and I’m doing it at Christmas for exactly the downtime reason. I'd rather face family with a bandage on my face than coworkers and professional contacts.

In all seriousness... I own a little black dress from Patagonia (travel/ outdoorsy type store). It’s a stretchy Lycra blend type fabric, super comfy, can be balled up in a suitcase or washed in a sink. Goes everywhere with me. With a blouse or cardigan over it and flats, it’s a good museum / shopping / sightseeing

Yes. Always a little vibe for the vacation sex. But, take the batteries out during travel. No one needs a buzzing suitcase while going through security.

I had the Western Fun Barbie and her horse Sun Runner from the last picture! I haven't thought of them in years.

Are you seriously suggesting that brain development in countries which permit younger alcohol consumption is harmed across the population and they don’t know it? So places like France and Italy where wine is a huge part of culture, they’d be nations of geniuses if they didn’t all drink so young?

Lol. Except for the vast majority of the places on earth, where the drinking age is younger than 21. It's 18 in my jurisdiction and it doesn't seem like the entire population is brain damaged as a result.

I agree with the folks who are saying if the parents are paying there are strings attached... And it shouldn’t be that hard to figure out how to keep mom happy. But you make a good point about expectations and getting them clear. My grandmother helped me out with the costs of my undergrad grad degree. It wasn’t a huge

I love simple dresses because they’re like an outfit all on their own and you don’t have to coordinate a top to a bottom. If you live somewhere cold, with tights and boots under and a cardigan or blazer over.

Send your IPAs to me.

That is amazing stuff. Just discovered it on a trip to the U.S. in October. Sadly haven’t seen it locally. And by that I mean it’s not in the store by my house.

My engagement ring has a lab grown blue diamond. One of the cool parts being while they’re making them in the lab, they can go ahead and make them in colours that would be very rare in the ground. And for ethical and environmental reasons I didn't want a traditional diamond.

I used to live in an area of BC where the local population was about 1/3 First Nations. There was a program in the schools to teach the local language to all kids. It wasn't intensive, it was an elder coming in a few times a week for a few minutes to teach the kids some simple phrases, sing songs, etc. sadly, there

Yeah, I’ve got a short pixie with highlights to make it more interesting. I don’t want to admit to what I spend on haircuts. But, “doing” my hair in the morning takes like 30 seconds and I don't even dry it because it's dry by the time I have made coffee. Time is money! Or something!
