Wouldn’t the batter just hear everything the catcher was saying?

I can agree with that. I actually do find that I’ll rewatch BB episodes about once a year whenever AMC does a marathon, but that’s more a “tv on in the background” kind of thing. I don’t seek out old episodes of the show, and I do find Walt’s story to be much less sympathetic (if it ever was) on subsequent viewings.

Certainly I agree that the character work being done with Jimmy/Saul/Gene is a lot more nuanced when compared to Walter White/Heisenberg. Part of that is just that the premise of Breaking Bad is inherently more extreme (either “teacher and family man gets cancer, starts cooking meth in an RV” or “Mr. Chips to

“The big thing for me was that there was always a disconnect between Walter the criminal and Walter the husband. After thinking he killed two people he went home and slept with his wife. The next day he planned on melting the bodies in acid. These are not normal actions for a person - even Jimmy with his questionable

I think it’s very intentionally left up to every viewer’s own interpretation, but I read it as he started out as the Henry Deaver we saw in episode 9, but being caught in the wrong universe and/or his incarceration at Lacy’s (and Pangborn’s) hand corrupted him. As our Henry/Henry I said, whether he started a monster

Henry was maybe a monster when he was in the wrong world, but he went back to normal when he got back home.  Henry II’s not gonna get that chance, it seems.

It’s all in your interpretation.  I think that’s the point.  I’ve told you the story I’m choosing to believe.

Agreed. I like some of the speculation I’ve read about the specifics here—maybe those who can hear the schisma are immune to the evil influence around all of the Castle Rocks, for example—but at the end of the day, I don’t think it matters. Henry II’s time in captivity is what made him a monster now.

Or that two people looking to cheat on their respective spouses would go to a murder-themed B&B instead of getting an AirBnB.

No need to fling yourself, I’ll give you a toss.

You’re a fucking idiot.

Now playing

They finished the rest of them off for the movie.

I think you could interpret the opening as a flashback or a fantasy, but I took it as the latter because I think it fits more thematically in what was going on (the slowly-building infection of evil from Castle Rock as they approach), and because to me it looks like his colleagues were reacting with bemused approval,

It’s a shame I can only give this post one star.  I like your theory a lot.

Clearly yes.

I thought it was for the Chiefs last year.

Kansi City?

Yep.  Wendell explained that only a Timewalker (Ruth) can kill someone so that they stay dead.  Molly (non-Timewalker) killed Matthew (not her true enemy), and now he’s back as the Kid.  Only Ruth can kill him for good.

I noticed the two chess pieces as well. Maybe it’s not a loop, but iterations? Like this is only the second time she’s gone through the series of events, but there’s no reason that every iteration has to remain the same. I think the hint was when her grandson said that if she kills her enemy (maybe not the Kid in the
