It’s bizarre the “Wonder Woman checks her email” scene was left in (same goes for the “Future Flash wakes up Bruce from a nap”). It’s an extended Easter Egg for the Franchise that’s dropped right in the middle an already overlong finale. Any Editor could see it (further) derailed a slog of a movie.

The stupid thing was they didn’t need to rush things. That scene in BvS where Diana is watching the computer files of the various future JLA’ers that Lex was monitoring, seemed so stupid.

I think that’s one element, but another is that Wonder Woman’s central thesis (that War, as an external force embodied by an immortal god with an absolutely fucking ridiculous stuffy-old-man moustache that has no business being in flashbacks from thousands of years ago, is really behind the evil in all men’s hearts)…
