Hell yeah, Alice Wetterlund. Her Star Trek podcast (Treks and the City) is very fun. She is good and she is good for being angry on Twitter.
Trevor is not American.
This doesn’t match the tone of the Arrowverse at all to me, TBH. Arrow sometimes gets darker, but as a whole, those shows are exuberantly silly while they take their characters seriously. They’re in that sweet spot of goofy and serious at the same time. This is...not.
This issue was written by Scott Aukerman and it’s great.
Alan Moore’s way ahead of them
The game and dice rolls actually feel like they dictate the direction of the game more now that they come less often and have higher stakes in Amnesty, but you do you I guess.
Those are Skarsgard’s actual eyes. He is naturally wall-eyed and learned to make his eyes point forward.
I can’t tell if trolling or serious but either way I’m starring you and eagerly waiting to see how this one plays out.
Ant-Man and the Wasp was a superpowered version of the “adult comedy” madcap plot that’s been standard to varying degrees of success since The Hangover, with Lawrence Fishburne and Hannah John-Kamen imported from an actual superhero movie for some reason.
That makes it sound like I didn’t enjoy, but I really really…
And still remains the canon Jack Ryan amidst a sea of the biggest action stars in the world contending for that character.
Even though the Hunt for Red October is actually the best Jack Ryan movie, but Baldwin just fails to make any impression in the role, especially opposite Sean Connery and Sam Neill.
I don’t actually think Xena is a better show than Buffy, to be clear, just that Sam Raimi didn’t fuck up the feminist part as much.
I mean, Sam Raimi did a better job making a feminist show in the exact same era and didn’t literally demand blowjobs for it so IDK.
Really?
No one is here to appreciate the headline?
Just call it Missouri City, Kansas
This is...the dumbest take I’ve seen in a while. “You’re okay with supporting artistic endeavors to tell stories of oppression, but you’re not okay with tonedeaf capitalist exploitation of those stories? Clearly you’re a hypocrite!”
Back...and to the left.
There’s also ResistanceHole, which is a parody of weak-ass “Surely My Sparkly Protest Sign With a Pun Will Stop Donald Trump” liberalism
Violent J is a good dad for doing this.
Bless you, Violent J.
It also doesn’t sound anything like Captain Marvel except for the flying part so man, if she did that, they really missed the mark.
