You were speaking scientifically because words can only have one meaning, the original proper meaning, none of this colloquial bullshit.
Something cannot devolve, that is a word derived from erroneous assumptions of scientific fact please do not use it
Devolution has no scientific basis or meaning please be more precise with your words.

What this list needs is the tentacle porn set to one of the worst Bond songs ever that was Spectre’s opening.
Watchmen’s opening credits are basically the only unambiguously good part of the movie.
And I’ve always loved Lord of War’s journey of a bullet from creation to murdering a kid.
Even AVC’s reviews were really weird. Zack pretty much took everything in stride reviewing TNG and DS9, and then tore apart Discovery with a million nitpicks- several of which were actually factually wrong- and then would give the episode a B. I don’t know what the deal is with this show and people’s reactions to it.
Totally unfair characterization of TNG. There was a ton of growth over those seven years. Mostly on Johnathan Frakes’s face.
I have so many opinions on Discovery. I think the story for S1 was good, but very poorly plotted and paced. I think the characters are great but not given nearly enough room to breathe. I think the set/costume/visual effect design is fucking amazing but set in completely the wrong era. Overall, I think it’s vying with…
I bet I can think of a couple reasons.
If only there were some precedent for a comedian having a role in Star Trek, then Discovery wouldn’t be unusual and bad.
I’m starting to think she might be a little bit gay
He also never wrote any books featuring a character named that. He’s literally never called that in Huck Finn- that’s something critics called him.
Right. Which is why movies don’t have legs anymore, because people move onto the next thing quickly because there’s more competition.
And people are spending more money to do so. By this time in 1998, the movie industry as a whole made $2,109,703,350.53 in 2018 dollars. It’s made $2,804,068,438 so far this year.
Here’s some movies that, adjusted for inflation, made more money on the same weekend as one of Titanic’s #1 weekends, comparatively:
Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle
Black Panther
A Wrinkle in Time
Tomb Raider
Pacific Rim Uprising
Ready Player One
So you genuinely think that Titanic would manage 3 1/2 months in 2018?
Because Black Panther’s opening weekend alone is 5 times more than Titanic managed in a single week, adjusted for inflation.
And in that 3 1/2 months Titanic’s biggest competition was, what, U.S. Marshals? These days huge opening weekends are the norm and holding onto 5 consecutive weeks is a major feat. There have been literally two movies this century that have done that: Black Panther and Avatar. So yeah, comparing a movie now to 20…
To be fair, Anson Mount looks EXACTLY like Jeffery Hunter. It’s really friggin’ weird actually. Like if we could go ahead and retcon Bruce Greenwood with this dude, we should do that.
I believe that’s why he shot down having the actual Darth Bane and Darth Revan show up as Force Ghosts.
Darth Bane appeared not as a force ghost, but as an apparition conjured by Sidious using the ancient power of Moribund/Korriban. He was a trick, but had no real power. It’s not the same thing as a full Force Ghost like Yoda or Obi-Wan who are still the same people they were when they were alive, manifesting as real…
