Ugh. This one actually hurts. Fuck you, man.

Which is to say nothing of the fact that Odin’s horse, Slepnir, is Loki’s son and Loki was the *mother*.

So, in actual Norse mythology there is a story where a Frost Giant king stole Mjolnir in order to force Freya to marry him. Thor goes undercover AS Freya, dressed in the most beautiful wedding dress anyone had ever seen. The frost giant fell in love with him instantly and brought out Mjolnir as a symbol to seal their

Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman on Supergirl is a firm favorite of mine, actually. Maybe because he doesn’t have to carry the series or something, but his Supes and his Clark are both great.

I have checked. There’s not enough.

I feel like DC movies can be optimistic and not goofy. We have a goofy DC universe. It’s on the CW and it’s wonderful. But the movie universe can be big. It can be bright. It can be earnest and optimistic. And it can do that without cribbing from Marvel’s notes. Wonder Woman did it pretty well, if imperfectly.

Spacey’s Gene Hackman was actually my problem with the movie. But Routh was so good and deserved a better, longer career as Superman instead of being stuck on the CW where he’s doing a great, charming job as Ray Palmer that’s still beneath him.

Did 5 different people really need to say something the person I replied to had already said? I made a typo in that first sentence, thanks, yes, I saw the episode where Ollie talked about Bruce Wayne guys, that’s why I used the past tense later in my comment. Cool.

Bruce himself has never been mentioned. The newspaper from the future in the first season of The Flash name dropped Wayne Industries, and Earth-2 Barry Allen had “Bruce” Diana” and “Clark” on his speed dial, but otherwise no one had ever explicitly mentioned Bruce Wayne, billionaire playboy.

This version of the Punisher sounds like it depicts that. Others are just “WOOO MURDER THE BADDIES ALL THE GUNS”. There’s a lot of variance in how different people approach the Punisher, and it’s fine to worry about how this one would.

I mean, he cheated on Liz Hurley with a prostitute. Which, these days, is almost charming and quaint by celebrity sex allegations standards.

The people who hate Discovery are the same kind of people who hated DS9 because “They don’t go anywhere! It’s not Star Trek!” They are now, as they were then, on the wrong side of history.

Why even watch if you’re not going to pay attention? They explained why they were doing the jumps multiple times. They could’ve destroyed Kol’s ship at any time, but they were using him to construct an algorithm any Starfleet vessel could use against ship using the same cloak. In order to do so, they needed data fed

I am not opposed to this idea. THAT would be a twist.

I think it was Lorca. He set a course for one of the alternate reality nodes instead of actually heading for Starbase 46.

Who cares if we forgive someone? Why do they deserve to be rich and famous again just because they once were? Why do we need to rehabilitate Mel Gibson? Why can he have just disappeared?

Tig gave him the best opportunity any of these people have gotten. All he had to do was use it with honesty and grace and this would’ve blown over a lot faster and he would’ve been held up as actually brave and a demonstration of someone willing to own up to things and change.

OH WELL.

Yes.

This could’ve been handled when Tig came out and demanded he say something. That was a golden opportunity. He clearly thought as recently as a couple of months ago he could just get away with it and never actually face anything.

I’m fine with it. He’s Spock.
