ACHTUNG! beebee

I wanted to like it. It was a very pretty movie, but not terribly interesting plotwise, and doubly boring music-wise. But the fact that it got two song nominations when Sing Street got none and won over everything else is deeply masturbatory on Hollywood's part, so utterly expected.

Oh. I thought at least I would still want to read the articles maybe.

And maybe, like MST3K, it's just more interesting to dig up more obscure failures than rehashing "HURR HURR MARTHA" jokes about Batman v Superman.

I'd watch this movie with Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc.

Once again: my pitch is that Galaxy Quest (the original TV show) is being rebooted as a new, sexier, more flashy Galaxy Quest for a new generation, but the intergalactic confusion that causes forces the original actors to come in and save the new actors from trouble. Along the way, the new actors come to appreciate

It's not that they can't solve the problem. It's that we're commenting wrong.

The fact that they've been reluctant to do this on Legends, where it's perfect, is disappointing, but I have to believe it'll happen eventually. If they're willing to do the Justice Society of America and introduce Isis (in all but name, for uh…reasons), that has to be somewhere in the cards.

Pretty similar to my reaction to Songs of Innocence, TBH, but it's not cool to say you like any U2 album either.

I mean, the album is basically Rivers going "Oh yeah, you fucks, you only like our old stuff, well how do you like THIS" and the answer is "Oh, yeah, I like that. Thanks. Finally."

White Album was surprisingly okay.

It's literally one click to install in the Steam version how are you this lazy.

Hm. No, no high hopes for that, even though I like Scheer alright. Also, it'll just be an also-ran compared to The Orville, which I have similarly low hopes for.

They need to either canonize or create a canon version of those games. That story is the best thing in the entire EU and I will not back down from that statement.

Yeah, framing the prequels in a context of political unrest and the stagnancy of an aging Republic unable to maintain peace within its own borders is probably the most interesting idea Lucas had. So it's immediately jettisoned for Jar Jar Binks.

Kimberly Kane and April O'Neal! The best get for that movie was Giles Aston as Picard.

Fun fact about this list: I've actually only seen four of those movies and yeah you can totally guess which ones.

Here's mine:
Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country
Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan
Star Trek (2009)
Star Trek: The Next Generation: An XXX Parody
Citizen Kane

Rosebud frozen peas! Full of country goodness and green pea-ness.

The wine so bad it made the news?
