What tired me and my friends out was the constantly changing meta. I’m neither 16 anymore with hours to kill each day nor do I have the energy to restart my personal progress when the developers change how to play the game. One friend played Mercy in competitive mode and he had to eventually learn about 3-4 heroes.

Look, I consider myself the biggest Playstation fanboy, while I don’t agree with Thomsen’s review, I still think it is valid and shouldn’t be removed from Metacritic. What I do have a problem with however, is where the hell the score 40/100 came from?

No Pontiff Knights? Talk about a dance with death. It’s good that they have no poise and low defense, but man, one wrong step and you get to say hi to your spleen.

takes away from the core gameplay which is supposed to be dashing, slashing, and shooting your way through enemies, not meekly tiptoeing around trying to avoid fights.

I think I’d like all of the above listed as on/off options. The one thing I do unequivocally support is healthpacks being refilled on warp. While keeping an eye out for them is part of the challenge, having to hunt for them just isn’t that fun and takes away from the core gameplay which is supposed to be dashing,

Meh, I personally didn’t mind the way DS2 altered poise and made some adjustments to PvP.

Naw, it’s fine. Stacking HP/End/Vit and using enchanted/raw weapons is a perfectly viable way to play.
