What finally got me out of the greys on Gawker was literally asking when someone was going to fucking follow me already.

You mistakenly replied to me and not Drew. Never google anything he tells you not to google.
You can never act to eager to be on a jury I swear because they'll think you have ulterior motives. Ugh. So frustrating.
I really hate seeing mommy and daddy fight.
I know I got so excited! My husband thought I was nuts but whatever. It can be fun.
In the panel I was on a few weeks ago, there were actually two of us, and we decided that they kept both on the assumption that neither of us would be able to control. It was actually probably a good method.
As a civil litigator I'm super conditioned to say "laws vary by state," especially as it applies to my family asking me legal questions that I don't want to answer.
It's weird because, depending on the case, I wouldn't see anything wrong with having a lawyer on one of my juries. I certainly wouldn't wholesale strike one...
We here at Deadspin appreciate sage legal insight, and are always eager to welcome any lawyers willing to provide it.
This is my favorite reply I think I've ever gotten.
That is bullshit. In my county they started choosing all the juries for the week on Mondays. You may have to sit around all day on Monday, but if you don't get picked, you don't come back. It's really made the system so much better. So for example, I went in on Monday, found out I'd be on a jury around 2, left, and…
Yeah I think he's probably on a selection panel. The worst part is he seems not to understand he is still on a selection panel...
As a lawyer, I'm always pretty jealous when people get assigned to juries. Lawyers are typically the only people who are really interested in what goes on "behind the scenes" and we almost always get excused!
I don't really think anything is an open and shut case when it is the first time you are trying someone under a brand new law.
I like this game!
Right, but what if the terms of the endowment provide, for example, some amount of money must be returned if they don't do X. I'm just saying it is easy to say dump him, but that's a lot of money to return for a school. I don't know what Spellman's endowment is like, but $20MM could hurt.
Depends on the strings attached to that money. Some endowments have conditions... the building must always bear his name, for example, or the money must be returned. We just don't know. It's a tough spot to be in for sure.
There are always ties to these sort of contributions (put my name on the building) so that makes it tough. That said, I kind of feel like, fuck it. He's an asshole to women. Shouldn't these women get to use some of that money for education? They don't want to seem like they are supporting him, but also losing that…
Soil digging is your go to reference? Really? That isn't even that hard. Doesn't he know women have literally been digging soil since the beginning of time? I thought soil digging was the women's work, in fact.
