I'm seriously thinking I should watch this episode tonight. Yay Netflix!

Because you aren't a dick! :-D I mean how can you NOT enjoy kids in costumes!?! I always walk my dogs (in costume) over to the nice blocks to see the kids.

Hehe I know I posted the pic in another comment. I guess I was the unusual one. I lived in the country but in a small neighborhood so maybe my parents were just lazy lol.

Yeah I lived in the country too. But I lived in like, a modest subdivision in the country, so I guess that is why we stayed put? There were definitely nicer houses but they were further apart.

*Shudder*

Relevant:

Well that is kind of what I'm asking. I'm sure there are some people who have always traveled. I didn't. I was just wondering if it is a change or I lived in a weird place. :-D I also lived in the cooountry where the nice houses are on huge multi acre lots so...

I live kind of, across the way from a really nice neighborhood. Like, an NFL player lives nearby. My house is more in the "new owner" kind of size, but there are some fucking awesome houses. It's got the same kind of deal: every Halloween, buckets of kids come in from everywhere to go trick or treating. And you know

OMG. You subtweeted me! I have arrived.

What is your deal? Do you have to fight with everyone?

Thanks for the insight. A few people agree with me, and my comment was very nice. Not really sure why your reply is remotely necessary.

Totally agree.

No I know you weren't. But I just wanted to say that I think they are more similar than we realize and we should be careful with the language we use!

Nah, it is a lot the same. What happens when you let a dude live with you with a violent criminal record? What happens when a woman dates a guy that has a history of abuse? Immediately people go, "well she should have known." I'm just saying that if we don't like that being used, we should be careful with our words.

It definitely is. It is clearly a joke, but not one I would make.

I know you are kidding, and honestly, you are one of my favorite newbies. But this rubs me the wrong way:

For once, we agree. Tom Kha Gai is the nectar of the gods and I will murder any person who tries to put tomatoes in it.

I will take those, please and thank you.

It would't be libel in any event. There has to be some statement of her personal character; misstating what is in a book is 100% not actionable in any state in the United States.

I have a pretty solid "alternative" theater here and it isn't listed either. So I hope they just haven't added the national release theaters yet.
