I wonder if it is because of the whole CofC debacle?

She's so freaking awesome. Love her, love her comics. Should go buy another.
I've spent so much of my life deliberately avoiding eye contact with male strangers to avoid awkward cat-calling or being randomly hit on by people when I'm just trying to go about my business. Plus seeing people stare at me just makes me uncomfortable, so it's nice just not to notice. I, for one, look forward to the…
I meant it rather hyperbolically, but also, I am not familiar with any marketing techniques of newspapers, whether well known or not. ;)
Nope. Was not yet born and was unaware of that fact. :-D
2006. And that's weird that San Diego Tribune gives out such an award, right?
And now her disabled daughter and husband will need professional caretakers. Though, in light of the little I know about this woman, I suspect a professional caretaker will be far more nurturing and professional than she could be, even to her own family members.
Is it victim-blamey that I'm disappointed both people didn't immediately leave? I feel like I'm victim blaming. But seriously, I would have been so pissed and I'm sad that they (or the people they were with) didn't tell him to go fuck himself and hightail it out.
I just played a few rounds. I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING AT WORK TOMORROW.
I was a weird kid. After it got out, I told everyone. Because fuck him, it wasn't my fault. But I do recognize that what's going on here is a little different. That's why I said it was my opinion based solely on my experience.
In my very personal opinion (based on experience, as a child, but an opinion nonetheless), one of the biggest reasons domestic violence is rarely appropriately punished, and one of the biggest reasons women struggle to leave, is that domestic violence is seen as one of those things that is personal and between the…
There are two clubs kind of like that here, too. One has a bar where if your cellphone rings aloud, you have to buy everyone drinks. You aren't allowed to talk work. Problem is they didn't allow women for a long time so I have a hard time joining now. Plus their food kind of sucks. But I love the feel of the place.
Yeah I want to join it for: the pool, the gym, and a place to store kayaks. :) They have a really nice pool and I want access to a pool without owning one!
Hm. You also raise a good point. Actually the best tasting is probably middle class office workers.
Can we also talk about clubs? What is it about them that makes me want to join one so badly? I need someone besides my husband to tell me that I may actually be a bad person for wanting to be a member of the yacht club.
Disagree. More money/time to work out = more muscle. More muscle = less tender. Rich people tend to have more time to work out, so they probably are more tough.
Seeing as how a lot of rich people (women in particular) work out often (because they have the time and money) I suspect they are probably pretty tough, actually. :(
Yes, when you spend ALL the money you make, you will, as a result, not have any money. Solution: spend less money.
If it were already compatible with the iPhone 6, it would be really, really impressive.* Also I immediately googled because I thought I missed the press conference somehow, but PHEW it is tomorrow.
