I had a pink crop top prom dress. I still cannot believe I won that fight with my mother.

I think I heard a talk on NPR about this, but essentially: they are cheaper to make and alter. Which just makes you more angry when you think about how much you pay for them. Not only are they overpriced, but they are mass-produced in a form that is most convenient for the maker. What a racket.

When I'm outside during the summer, I wear a lot of cute gym clothes, basically. Then I don't care if I sweat, because you cannot really tell. Plus it usually motivates me to work out.

Yeah it was 60 when I left my house and I'm wearing pants, long sleeve shirt, blazer, scarf, and used my heated seats...

Yeah dude. I was talking to a friend and looked Atlanta up for reference... holy jeez. I don't understand how it can be that cold there and then like 25 degrees higher only 6 hours away...

Erin—-any ideas what you big city folk do in situations like this regarding the homeless? Like do shelters accept more people? Does the city open up any emergency facilities? It seems really scary. :(

Yeah usually I throw it in people's faces, but right now I just feel really terrible for you all. And especially the people with no where to go!!

Yeah one of my girlfriends who was born and raised in sunny Tampa just moved to Kansas city. She cannot survive.

Yeah luckily I am now in southern Florida... so our low is 30. Which, by my new standards, is pretty damn cold, but given the rest of the country, I shall not complain.

As a native southerner, I consider anything below 20 "double pants weather." I literally cannot fathom the cold you all are experiencing. Best of luck to you all, especially those who are unfortunate and may lack the necessities to make it through comfortably.
