Credit where credit is due: when literally every other manufacturer has taken their truck based, rugged, durable SUV, lopped each one's respective nads off, and "redesigned" it as some car based turd, the 4Runner has soldiered on for 32 years as a body on frame, often underpowered, go ALMOST anywhere vehicle.

We have a kia forte 5 door, and also live near the coast in SC. Once we got the windows tinted, it was a night and day difference (see what I did there?). Keeps the cabin much cooler, and keeps direct sun at bay.
