I never really thought of buying my home as an investment. Between interest, PMI and upkeep, I would struggle to break even in the best of markets. But the upside is, if and when we move, god willing, I might get some cash out of it for all the mortgage payments, which simply does not happen when you rent. Compound

Just LOLd at this interaction. The rest of us are having a laugh. At the hummer, the note, the whole thing. Then along comes this asshat. Keep doing you, Doug.

    DOUG!!!! HOLY CRAP!!!

I think the answer is always Diesel. But foreal though...

Nothing gives me Forest Whitaker eye like overuse of hashtags and people looking at their phones in a mostly dark room.

It looks like a baby Carrera GT. Hopefully they depreciate fast so I can scoop one up second hand!

Not a bad list at all. I think the V70R has a place here, but even though they are worth about 10K (from what I have seen), people with decent examples want a lot more than that.

I need that E30 in my life. I saw this on ebay last night. 9 grand seems reasonable. ish.

Durability and ease of modification I am sure are about the only clear advantages. Characteristics that only really appeal to the serious off roading crowd. That and IMHO appearance.

I do not think I have ever seen a 2500 Avalanche. Does anyone know why the vast majority of trucks switched to IFS within the last 20 or so years? I have a Jeep GC with the solid front and it rides beautifully, so I can't imagine it was a ride quality thing.

    It's a brave new world...

But I NEED pesos inlaid into my doors! And skin tight wranglers that somehow allow me to do roundhouse kicks! and a light bar! and a cowboy hat! Because I'm from the South and Walker Texas Ranger is the American dream!

Well that's depressing. Though it seems a lot like the Laramie Longhorn package, and I could do without the champagne colored wheels on that trim. I haven't had the pleasure of being inside one yet, but the interior rivals luxury makes in terms of appearance. Not good for truck purists, but good for Ram when

Yeah I guess the word only followed by forty-seven different characteristics is a bit juxtaposed.

I kind of hope this makes it to production, even though it will likely cost 50K+.

I am driving a lot less than I used to because I bought a house 3 miles from the work when my office moved. I average about 6,000 miles per year in total with frequent 500 mile round trips throughout the year.

Theoretically, the only difference in previous generations of the Burb and HD Burb would be uprated suspension, tranny, axle, and maybe brakes and cooling?

Are you in the UK? I have honestly thought about importing a diesel disco once they hit 25 years old.

    SO MUCH ROOM FOR ACTIVITIES!!!!

I want to look back in this era fondly, but honestly, you're right. As a lower middle class kid from a semirural area, my spring break was spent at home, occasionally watching this crap.
