Normally I'd agree, but Tomb Raider has kind of already taken that angle.

Looks like a ROM hack with mascots added to the game.

Is this a ROM hack or something? At least one of those characters doesn't look canon.

Don’t worry, they’re only not fucking them up on a technicality. I'm sure they'll try again soon.

Of course they did. This guy is practically their spirit animal.

In fact, the most direct path to a re-examination of the United States Supreme Court’s ruling in Roe v. Wade is the appointment of a conservative, pro-life justice to the United States Supreme Court.

Yeah, I saw them do one of the numbers at the Grammys, and I was like “This is what people are paying a fortune to go see?" I guess I'll just never understand musical theater.

Seeing as the protagonist has a biological child, it seems unlikely.

I suppose we should just ignore the African elephants being poached as well, since it’s mostly non-white people poaching them. There's a difference between racial sensitivity and racial hyper-sensitivity.

Apparently most of the issues are stemming from Youtube's automated systems flagging the official Mario songs. It's not Nintendo going after streamers directly, it's Youtube's systems not being smart enough to differentiate between these Minecraft videos and actual licensed content Nintendo is trying to protect.

....in that a sucker was punched.

Well, at this point I'm not really sure where they can go. If they try to compete with Xbox and Playstation at their own game (relatively powerful multimedia game consoles) they're likely to be outgunned. Differentiating themselves from their competition rather than trying to beat them at their own game was, in

Act superior if you want, but as someone who doesn't know who Billy Bush is, I feel like the real winner here.

That's part of it, but if it were solely that you'd see more of the same thing from Sony as well. It's at least partly due to Nintendo's own isolated, quirky culture, which led them to create some truly innovative and memorable experiences at one point, but which their audience has largely outgrown over the years,

Sure it's their (monumentally stupid, short-sighted) decision to make. No one is disputing that.

Eh...villain implies malicious intent. Nintendo isn't malicious, they've just failed to keep up with the times, both in terms of their products and the way they protect their IP. Their audience and the way their audience interacts with media have changed in a way that they seem incapable of understanding.

I don’t think it’s malicious, I just think Nintendo has an outdated outlook o n the game industry. They’ve always been protective and close-to-the vest about their projects and IPs in a very Disney-like way, and they’ve always been, at heart, an innovative toy company. Unfortunately their innovations haven’t hit the

As a white guy, I'd like to buck this trend by saying that I have no opinion on Hamilton whatsoever.

The Ballpark in Arlington is a nice-ass ballpark. I can't imagine what need there could be for a new one. A stadium that only lasts 20 years is fucking stupid.

I’d say the #1 reason people skipped this one is that the “monster” in the game looks like a poorly drawn housecat. It’s not scary or intimidating or mysterious in any way, and since it’s really the only source of danger besides environmental hazards it needs to be something you're afraid of running into.
