I went on a cruise back in 1995. I got some kind of intestinal bug, along with many other people on the ship. But back then they didn’t report on that stuff.

I heard some of the “rescued” Americans were whining that they were “forced” to leave the ship, saying the additional quarantine in the US is hugely inconvenient. I get it...but on the other hand a cruise ship is a perfect place for communicable diseases to spread. If it were me, I’d want to be back in the US, closer…

You never know...it might do some good.

There is always something to worry about, my long deceased grandma used to tell me. She lived through the great depression and WWII, and seemed to always keep things in perspective.

Home Economics is still in schools. My son (in 7th grade) is taking it this quarter. They’re making muffins this week.  The class is called “FACS”.  Not sure what that means.
