Perhaps not too long ago this was true.   But today, definitely not true.   Today it’s hyper scrutiny, and accusations are convictions.   

In this age of hyper scrutiny, and accusations are convictions, I’m not surprised by this.

When something gets overhyped and talked about, I immediately get turned off. I want to discover things myself. But I’m almost always pleasantly surprised when I give it a chance.
