It definitely felt like it was trying to recapture the feeling of RE4, but that’s not the same thing as its tone IMO. Village is much like RE7 in that it feels like modern first-person horror with an Eli Roth coat of paint. That one worked better for me as a one-off after the disaster that was RE6.

Need so much more of this aesthetic, please!

Not a fan of the twist, TBH. Resident Evil isn’t the kind of series that tries to be clever like that. Though in truth most of this one felt off-tone for the franchise.

This has been a favorite of mine for ages, too.

There’s already a 360 emulator, though maybe this will lead to something more accurate in the long run. The arcade version of VF5 also has additional content that was cut from the home release, so getting the 360 version on your PC seems like a worse deal IMO.

Can’t speak for all of them, but VF2 is definitely the full arcade experience.

.

Ah, that makes more sense then.  Thanks for clearing that up!  Yeah, I’ll never understand why so many companies seem to either ignore PC or produce shoddy ports for it.

I’m probably just drawing a blank on something obvious here.  No harm intended, sorry if that came across as rude.

I...wasn’t trying to be condescending, but thanks for doing so in your reply. There are other, more convenient ways to play VF5, even the home port, so I don’t understand the significance here. To me, it would be as if the new Samurai Shodown included the original US AES version of the first game, but it was kind of

Always nice to see, but Yakuza having full, playable retro games isn’t exactly new. Yakuza 0, Kiwami, and Kiwami 2 all had something along these lines in Kamurocho’s Sega arcades.

The thing about racism and corruption is that it doesn’t recognize arbitrary lines in the dirt. California is the most liberal state in the Union and it was home to the Rampart scandal.

Game Pass does help considerably.

You’re absolutely right. I used to buy every last game I was even remotely interested in. Some were to support smaller devs, some were to support my favorite franchises, while others we just because. Starting this year, though, I’ve switched to only buying something if I intend to play it right way, with a reasonable

Ah, never ran across that.  Thanks for the info.

Only Undertales grown in the Sans region can claim that name.

Weird.  I thought all of those levels were great for different reasons.

Think you’re missing a preposition in that headline, unless you mean to imply that his name is “Sans Undertale.”

Oh no, how dare someone disrespect a dead rapist.

Electronic Symphony had one of the best soundtracks in the series, so it all worked out for the best.
