PS5 is already showing it’s age hardware wise

I find it odd how this surprises people. Even if it had a bit of a slow start the console still turns 4 this year. I think it would be far weirder if Sony wasn’t gearing up for the next system at this point. Most consoles have their next iteration come out about 6 years into their lifecycle. That means PS6 was more

Seems to check out.  This should roughly be the halfway point for the generation, if not the back half.  I’m also excited.  The back half of a PS life cycle has some of the best games of a generation.

I’m honestly a little flabbergasted that somebody could talk about the state of turn-based RPGs in 2017 and not even mention Dragon Quest XI.

Bingo. What’s the gap between revenue previously and revenue now.

Of course, they might have staffed differently to accommodate a scope that would meet projections but nevertheless, if you say “I made $1 last year, my projections are $10 next year” and you don’t make that, that doesn’t mean you didn’t still have some

Missing projections by 45% is not the same as revenue being down 45%.

I forgot to jump up and down in a frothing rage... they’re referring to the super shotgun being shown.

Problem here is that Overwatch hasn’t really told many stories yet.

Knows something is not possible but tries to do it anyway and complains about it.  Kotaku at its best.

There are enough RPGs where that isn’t an option that you really shouldn’t expect it. Even great ones like the Mass Effect series, Pillars Of Eternity, Tyranny, or the modern Shadowrun games.

Can I have a job writing for Jalopnik if I write a piece about how my Buick doesn’t drive like a Ferrari?

Ugh, that really isn’t a selling point. It means the maps will be full of pointless filler and chests to fill the space out. It was that tedium that made me give up on AC: Valhalla.

I only know Dream vaguely as a content creator so I went to see his face reveal and...he just looks like some guy? And I mean that in a good way. He’s just a relatively handsome young man who one would lose in a crowd almost immediately.

It would have never made sense or been morally right to bully someone no matter

Weird hill for him to die on, but at least he’ll be dead I guess.

It might stretch the definition of ‘game’, but Virtual Springfield was one of the best licensed videogames of its time. I’ve not kept up with the Simpsons much since it went off a cliff at the start of season nine, but I assume Springfield remains an excellent setting to just explore.

The 4 player beat em up was a lot more than a reskin of the turtles game , especially with the combo ability 2 players could do.

Hit and Run was a fun game.

But Simpsons Hit and Run:

I will also add that this franchise in general isn't one you point to for deep complex characters or award winning writing.  I mean Chris Redfield is best known for punching a boulder during a fight with discount Matrix Man.  In the original RE4 Leon is just quips and a haircut.  I adore Lady Dimitrescu in RE8 but
