Lords of Shadow is an abomination in my eyes, but it’s cool that it’ll be free for anyone who likes it.

Wow, the host segments are live action? 2K has been doing their stuff fully animated for ages now. Have to wonder if this was some kind of decision from an executive at EA who didn’t understand how things work.
As I get older and my backlog gets bigger, I’ve come to despise post-launch DLC. Either give all of the content up-front or don’t develop it at all. I just don’t have the wherewithal to come back, three to six months later, to a game I’ve already beaten.
Wait, there’s more This War of Mine content? To quote the late, great Pat Hingle, “Why wasn’t I told about this? Who’s in charge?”
Seems like de rigueur on the former Gawker sites IME.
Hm. I’d say this is almost perfect. The game version didn’t have the traditional white spots over the eyes.
Ah right. The JP name is a much cuter pun TBH. And it’s not like you really need English text in a game like that.
Bonk’s Revenge kind of supplants the original, and I suppose you could say Air Zonk also counts. Still, very odd to exclude either Legendary Axe game, considering how big it was around the launch of the system. Ah well.
No Legendary Axe? Wow.
Variety and niche options are nice, but I still can’t see this as anything other than a method for having an orgasm. It boggles my mind that anyone would feel that invested in something like that. As I see it, you use porn and then you go back to your regular life. You don’t develop an entire personality and group…
That all seems reasonable at a surface level, but it still feels odd. At the end of the day, hentai is just a type of porn. With all the different varieties of adult entertainment out there, it seems weird to me that anyone would take one particular option so seriously. I might be misinterpreting, but it seems as…
Maybe I’m missing some kind of vital context here, but why are the Hentai Haven fans so worked up? The internet exists almost exclusively for the purpose of sharing porn for free. If xvideos or Youporn shut down tomorrow, there would still be 18 billion other ways to get a nut.
They didn’t become commonplace until after Columbine.
I don’t like the word either, but it’s pretty firmly established by this point. Besides, how often do you really need to say it in a given day?
That’s the point I’m trying to make. I understand that Street Fighter was not the primary factor for the author staying in the closet. The headline is misleading, though. If someone were to read only that headline, they could misinterpret that the author is saying that Street Fighter was the primary reason why the…
You are aware that Street Fighter is not society as a whole, but rather one small part of it?
That’s just it. All of those things add up together. No single piece of media convinces a person to remain closeted. I’m not saying Street Fighter didn’t contribute to her not living openly as bisexual. I’m saying Street Fighter did not, as the title of the article claims, force her to remain closeted. It’s a…
There’s so much nuance to a clickbait title that claims a video game forced someone to stay in the closet.
I’m sorry that you felt pressure to stay closeted instead of being your true self. However, this headline is extremely misleading. Street Fighter didn’t keep you from being open about your bisexuality. Society’s mistreatment of bisexual people did. Sure, Street Fighter has bad representation of LGBT people, but that…
That makes perfect sense. It just feels like a reach to unequivocally declare that Shinja and Kaworu were definitely in love in the original series.
