oooh, thanks for the Catalina update. I’m so glad she is doing as well as she is. Even if the news you get isn’t always what you’d hoped, you are on top of it. Things are so much better than when I was little and my parents were going through what you are now. She’s a precious wee sweetie!

8 weeks pregnant tomorrow, and everything is still looking good. We’re opting for the more advanced gene screening, which will cost $300 but will provide fewer false positives\negatives, AND will tell us the gender weeks earlier and will be based on DNA rather than guessing based on what someone sees on a sonogram.

Well my surgical recovery was chugging along nicely, but uhh... yesterday Mr. Bells went to pick up our son for a doctor’s appointment, slipped on the concrete steps in front of the school, tumbled down and broke his freaking shoulder.

After a long spell of depression, I’ve started taking the one thing that actually helps. Self-care, yay me! I hope everyone is having a lovely week.

It all makes sense if you just assume that using magic makes you dumb. I mean...how the hell could the TOP researcher of Muggles couldn’t figure out the concept of a children’s bath toy.

The concept of privacy as we know it is a relatively modern concept, but given the wizarding world’s obsession with secrecy, it’s not a stretch to imagine that an appreciation privacy would have manifested in other intimate acts, like pooping.
