I think that was her point/why she’s using it with hot tea

you don’t even need to justify this. it’s not controlling to ask for incredibly lightweight solidarity from your partner when you’re literally carrying the weight of the pregnancy and all that comes with it. sheesh.

Well, one real-world take: My sister’s preemie came out of the womb needing caffeine IV’d to him to keep him stable because my sis (who was incredibly cautious about literally everything else) drank it during pregnancy.

I took the shots, the pills that made me feel sick and gain weight, I did the procedures and the surgery, I took off work to go to all the doctors appointments. Now I’m constantly sick, off caffeine and soft cheeses (guess who is really into making sure I don’t eat the wrong thing), and haven’t pooped in two days. I

I think that’s a fair thing to ask. If I were in a situation like that where I knew I wouldn’t be able to consume something that I love for a short amount of time, I definitely would appreciate it if my significant other could do that with me. Also, if he thought that was an unreasonable ask, I think talking about it

It’s not weird to ask. I had hyperemesis when I was pregnant (it was so bad I was hospitalized twice), and I absolutely could not have certain foods even in the house or talked about at all for the first six months. My husband was happy to keep all that stuff out of the house and not mention them to me. I think in my

This stupid hot-take, again.  Not even Queen Elizabeth is over half German, let alone her children and grandchildren.

When will white people ever learn to finally accept each other

Before I was ever pregnant with our first child, my husband declared to my family that if/when I got pregnant, he’d quit drinking in solidarity. Awwwww.

I wonder if its the tanin that makes you sick. I would love to drink tea but the tanin is awful. Its in the de-calf  to

Even if we accept that the royals are all Germans (which they are not, the Queen Mother was a Bowes-Lyon), Harry is 1/2 Spencer (one of the oldest English families out there). William’s children are 1/4 Middleton, 1/4 Goldsmith and 1/4 Spencer. Harry’s children will be 1/4 Spencer, 1/4 Ragland and 1/4 Markle.

projectile vomiting. It's not cute.

Right? Just say no if you’re not going to do it. Or admit that it’s too difficult. Sheesh.

I drank hot tea when I was pregnant. Sometimes it was the only thing I could stomach. And it seemed wholesome and soothing...

Meanwhile, I've ramped up my tea consumption when I noticed my honey was starting to crystallize. If I can clear some of my tea shelf, then I can treat mah self next time David's Tea has a sale.

Ha I always drink a cup of tea when I have any illness at all including heartburn. Never even questioned that logic before this second.

I would love to enjoy a good cuppa, however, I’m violently allergic to black tea. I’m Indian, so this amuses me.

If the level of caffeine in tea is causing you to suffer significant personality changes I don’t think it’s the tea.

I don’t know how the British people drink so much tea.  It’s highly acidic and having tea every day for more than 3 or 4 days gives me some horrible heartburn.
