Yeah, that doesn’t surprise me too much. Cars that are driven run better. I bet if you look at the engine in a 15 year old Saturn with 60k on the clock it would be the opposite. When I see someone advertising low mileage, I run. High mileage doesn’t worry me too much within reason.
