General Motors has confirmed the 2017 CTS will come equipped with DSRC (Dedicated Short-Range Communications) radios.

It's a collection of lobbyists who are more than likely hired guns meaning they don't have a named client but work for an individual for a specific goal or something to that effect.

I actually pulled all this data last week (just for fun because I'm a huge nerd). Yes. Tesla is 'bout to go buck wild in Te-has with an Army of lobbyist.

I spent some time out on a RHIB once. It was horrible.

I sort of touched on the notion of whistleblowers in the auto industry and the responsibility of reporting safety defects in my earlier post here.

True, many of these added devices and functions are about marketing. But in many cases the data shows they are effective. The bigger fear, and things I've seen first hand briefed to regulators, is the reliance on these technologies combined with the lack of standard in terms of beeps, buzzes, lights and functions of

Thank you, Ford? HA! If I recall, this may have changed, but Ford held and wouldn't share the patent on this mirror-in-a-mirror.

Ten years ago, people went to an average of five dealerships when buying a car. According to consultants at McKinsey, Via the Freep, that number is down to 1.6. Why? Because people can just look up that shit on the Internet, meaning that they can get rival quotes without leaving their home or office or bathtub or

There is some truth to that and it's why I'm very pro-robot car.

Doesn't that in a way counter what the folks here have alluded to - people who drive performance oriented cars are better drivers? My first point isn't flawed as I said not all crashes.

Good explanation. LEO or Insurance?

See. We were talking right past each other.

Do airplanes have a crash rating system that tells me how one will perform over the other when it plunges into the ground - no. Cars on the other hand we can crash and we do. From that we obtain data from all kinds of elements of a crash, then transform those data points into ratings depending on how the car performed.

but this isn't about crashing or the chance of crashing its about crash survivability of a crash

1. Dear Super Enthusiasts, Not all crashes are the fault of the person driving. That means your well thought out scientific reasoning of, "these are clearly non-driving, lower lifeforms who lack proper driving skills because what kind of good driver buys a Kia Rio" is, well, stupid.

First and foremost, I watched the movie and I enjoyed the movie. But I never came at it with any expectations. I walked away hearing people talk about PTSD and frankly that irked me.

There is something to be said about the missing consumers and I've argued that the rise in sub-prime could just be those who went through bankruptcy, but have adequate and established income - just made poor decisions during the speculative HGTV-fueled flip fantasy.

4. You are buying the predetermined depreciation for a new vehicle at a rate that is normally a lower rate than you would find on a purchase.
