That’s really funny, among other things.

Kotaku writers regularly state that the website is not a monolith. Writers here are allowed to have and express different opinions. Sometimes those opinions directly oppose each other. Really not a difficult concept to grasp.
You only had one guest and you don’t want to credit them as more than “the guest?” Brutal... or mysterious...
I can’t fathom being upset about this. Probably take a step back if you’re that invested?
I haven’t used VRChat, but this feels a lot like the collapse of Tumblr.
Double Dash is the best Mario Kart game ever made, and I will die on that hill.
Imo it’s a near-perfect game, but for very specific subjective reasons (also the game is nothing like the trailer).
While I also expected reasoning behind these choices, I admire the unhinged decision to post this hit list with zero explanation.
Hey, if it doesn’t appeal to you, then it doesn’t appeal to you! There’s all kinds of mysteries, and most people are only interested in certain types of mysteries.
Yep! So “looking unfinished” in this context really isn’t an argument against its intentional inclusion.
Fair!

That’s how all of the Copied City looks, though.
C’mon now. Hideo Kojima is weird, but he loves getting credit.
Same. Reading the article, I’m surprised there was no mention of modders noclipping through the wall to see whether anything is there. Though, I don’t know much about noclipping, nor do I know how difficult it is to play (and mod) a 1.00 version of the game.
A half hour? You must be pretty good at it - I usually come out closer to an hour per run.
Maybe my chessbot ignorance is showing here, but why are they even playing robots?
Preach. After using an Elite controller for a few years, I can’t go back. I’m getting older and I just can’t play claw anymore. I’m sure the 15-20 years I did play claw has done irreparable harm to my hand.
Don’t knock it till you try it.
If I worked in an industry that habitually treated me poorly (via crunch and burnout in the case of game development) and my company then publicly shit on my livelihood, I’d be pissed too.
