I know you’re kidding, but SimCity’s influence goes way beyond the Sim series: ActRaiser, Roller Coaster Tycoon, recent Civilization games and other 4X games with city design, and even board games.

Lot of good games here, but in my mind, without Ultima (along with Wizardry) we’d have no JRPGs, Asteroids was one of the greatest arcade games of all time (hell, back in the day I even played it at a local Kroger store) and without SimCity we’d not have The Sims...and SimAnt :)

Yeah all of these deserve to be in there. Some are just ‘great games’ and some are games that broke through to non-gamers. Myst and YDKJ chief among them.
