Slay the Spire is a deck-building roguelike. Games can be both.

A lot of games can sum up gameplay well, but that assumes you already know the gameplay. Your first two examples work well for getting some initial info across, but Vampire Survivors doesn’t tell you much without seeing the gameplay, particularly in the recent surge of vampire games.

Honestly, if you knew absolutely nothing about a game besides its title, it’d be impossible to accurately guess the genre of 95% of games.

You seem to be missing my point, and I also don’t think you’re honestly isolating game titles from info you know about the title.

The name is literally the first words of the subtitle/blurb before clicking.

No, you’re good. I agree with what you said about someone needing to take action on the company side of things. I was kinda just bringing it full circle because several people are here having a conversation about it and I think it’s worth pointing out.

If a game is still massively popular, it doesn’t really matter how old it is. Maybe you missed the part about it being in the top 15 played games on Steam and making Valve tons of money? Typically companies want to keep making money.

I don’t know how to break this to you, chief, but that belly extension is the same piece in both scenes.
