Exactly what I came here to say. At 9 years old, the growth plates are still growing and are easily damaged. When she gets older, she’ll be pretty pissed off by her tiny hands that are hard as rocks, but have no fine motor control. I wouldn’t be surprised if she develops arthritis in her twenties.

A friend of mine in high school locked himself out of his car so many times, he finally resorted to wrapping a coat hanger around the luggage rack on his car so he would have one handy for the next time. At least he was smart enough to put it on the outside of his car!

The fun part is getting past the TSA checkpoint with expensive equipment. While I haven’t carried $1.2M worth, I did regularly pass through with $30k worth of equipment. It’s never fun trying to explain complicated electronics to a TSA agent.
