No, she’s right. Fitz is the worst.
No, she’s right. Fitz is the worst.
Man, I feel bad for y’all Negative Nancies. This was fabulous. Best episode yet. Laughed out loud, genuinely, several times. And Anthony Ramos (who was OG cast of Hamilton, can we please not omit that next time, and stop treating him like some random extra with no credits?) is a great addition. I love the way his…
I totally bought it. I’ve seen it happen to people I’d have thought just as open-minded and cool.
Not so much, as it turns out, when you have no idea what you’re supposed to be looking for. Needles, haystacks. But thanks.
Interesting! Thanks. I did a quick search but having no clue what you were talking about made it a bit “needle-haystack”-y.
What are you talking about? I’ve watched the entire season already. Spoil away.
Look, I have no idea what the hell’s going on with Melania here but one of two things is true:
Either: (1) this was a double; or (2) girlfriend dressed up for herself as Halloween but flubbed it with the weirdly layered wig and the fake nose and the strange nod which she never does.
I’m not sure which is weirder,…
Absolutely. And there are a few some find unlikable that I find funny, but this guy in particular - he was just so hostile to both of his female cohosts. I get enough of that shit in real life, YKWIM?
Lord, I missed that. Then, no, it’s absolutely not a spoiler. No more than a movie about 11/22/1963 with a scene with a guy with a Boston accent wearing a suit surrounded by other guys in suits whom someone addresses as “Jack.”
Exactly. I mean, I don’t expect a thesis - in fact, podcasts are better when the hosts keep it real and don’t overproduce it, IMO. But this was just egregiously poorly executed, and worst of all, I sensed no real curiosity in the hosts. They didn’t know - which is one thing - but they also didn’t care that they didn’t…
Not the least of which included the appearance of an actual honest-to-God serial killer in one of those hospital scenes.
On your recommendation, I listened to Never Seen Before. (After it took iTunes the better part of an afternoon to finally figure out how to download the fucking episode, but that’s neither here nor there.) I ended up listening to maybe one third of that episode, and a few minutes here and there of a handful of other…
I agree. It’s not a perfect creation, to be sure, but this episode didn’t deserve a B-. It may not be your cup of tea but it’s certainly not badly done. It’s got a definite style that may put some folks off, if they’re used to more prurient, self-explanatory, CBS-ized fare.
Yeah I don’t see how this could possibly be a spoiler for anyone who’s even remotely familiar with the facts. He’s identified as “ADT Technician” for Christ’s sake. It’s pretty well known that’s how Rader got access to his first victims’ homes.
One down. A few dozen to go, I’m guessing, conservatively?
Gotta be. The character is identified only as “ADT Technician” on IMDB, one of Rader’s early jobs, which was key to his side hustle as America’s creepiest murderous fuck.
Wow, really? Joke? That’s the paradigm you want to apply to true horror? I woke up to the news the asshole in the Oval decided last night that I won’t be able to afford health insurance next month after all, so for my high blood pressure, scoliosis related pain, neuropathy and fibromyalgia I will continue to have no…
Weird. I loved the first two much more than this one. It felt noticeably awkward and uncertain, despite some genuinely funny parts. Karen + anyone not of her “class” is pretty much guaranteed to generate at least a few out-loud laughs. And I never quite hated Leo the way some did. W & G are always the heartbeat for…
No. Sorry. :(
I’ll agree with the fucked-upedness (shut up, spellcheck) of the entire system, 1000%. And your take on the creation of the medium place does help resolve some of those issues I had with it.
