I’m sorry but I can’t take any list like this seriously if it omits “Love at First Bite” with Susan Saint James and George Hamilton. I mean. C’mon.

I had such high hopes but in the end it turned into the 70's version of the How I Met Your Mother finale, which is just .... sad. Not in a good way. Disappointed.

Well and sure, you’d know. Way better than her. The actual person being discussed. I’m sure.

This POS, and all the douchebros (non-binary inclusive) who twist themselves into knots and sell their souls to defend him, can disappear any day now.

I’m of a similar mind. I’m also curious how they plan to write out Michael entirely, at least for the first season. I mean ... he’s kind of a big deal in the book?

Oh FFS. Jennings shouldn’t be anywhere on this list.  He is most definitely NOT “everything” one could want in a host.

Given the shirt reveal in the trailer for the next (last) two episodes, I’m definitely on board with a Ross solution. Probably Ryan, possibly Lori, doubtful that it’s John but it’s not outside the realm of possibility.

That’s a decent comparison, I think. I couldn’t really get into The Alienist (though I agree it’s a solid effort that entertains) and the same might have been true of TMYS if I’d encountered it pre-pandemic.

I’m a little surprised at this review, tbh. I’m really enjoying it. Maybe not in one long chunk - ain’t nobody needs to be that much of a masochist - but it’s holding my attention so far. Rabe is solid, as is Brenneman and OMG Linklater I just whaaaa... he’s so good. I love the way it subverts the “likability” tropes

Does the brain also make her claim to have moved to the US from Spain at the age of 19 in order to attend college?

This isn’t code switching. It’s lying.

That was my first, instant thought, too.

So excited. This is great news. And I’m really digging that episode choice, too.

He was going to, until our beloved John Spencer died, whereupon they took pity on the fans and decided that was one blow too many. Personally, in retrospect, I think it was the right call, if only because it gave us the simply eloquent fix of Vinick-as-Secretary-of-State, which was just lovely.

Uh - what tf are you talking about? All either of us know is what these two people said. I’m relying on GIBSON’S OWN WORDS.

“He came into that room and started coming towards me. As he brushed past me, my foot came up and tapped him on the leg,” Gibson recalls. “If I hadn’t moved, he would have run into me. We had some choice words, for which I apologized the next day, and that was it. It was over. We shot the scene, I went home – and I

But you buy “my foot just somehow magically made contact with his leg”?

He REALLY doesn’t even look like himself at all, does he?

I loved this show for that, specifically. The fact not everyone got on board at the same time or in the same way or to the same extent made this so rich.

That is ... not what happens.

Not to mention Ralph’s “What else is out there?” and Holly (or “Holly”)‘s little smile and shrug.
