Well, ok then, you do that. Don't really understand why you expect people to respond to you kindly after you act like that to them, but whatever.

Um, you're the one throwing the tantrum. >_>
You mean that people don't like debating with someone resorting to petty tactics? I'd imagine a strong writer such as yourself would be well aware of that.
Ah, insulting my writing ability and assuming that, because I feel sympathy for strategy fans not wanting their game to turn into a FPS, I must be a petty guy who hates all games and doesn't complain. Which is funny, really, since you're the one acting petty and complaining and insulting and all that, but whatever.
Well, again, you can't really blame the fans for not magically knowing that a strategy game was coming out. And again, all fault on this becoming more strategy is, as you just said, the devs caving to demands for a strategy game. Which, again, fans didn't know was coming anyway.
That's, more or less, an embellishment of what I just said. :p Haha, it's cool though
Yes, why would people like a game where you can make almost anything you want? That is a very hard concept to grasp, I know.
And you can't really blame Xcom strategy fans for their perfectly rational fear that this is what the series would turn into. What other strategy games are coming out? What were coming out back in 2010? Of course the notion that all future XCOM games would be FPS would infuriate them. Can't really blame them for not…
... Well, someone's angry :/
Bioshock 2 was fantastic, yes, and did improve on the gunplay of the original.
Even so, I just wouldn't blame the fans for no wanting their series to turn into something completely different.
Actually, people complained about it both being a shooter AND it not being enough like Xcom. Just saying
Well, obviously 2K didn't let them make an original title. Publishers loathe the idea of new IPs. So much so that they'd completely alter the game to accommodate what XCOM should be instead of just changing the name and, well, have people judge it for what it is.
Just thought I'd say that the ign preview confirms no base building or researching.
If they want to make the games they want, that's cool. I'm all for that.
What do you usually play Multiplatform games on?
An abstract concept based around hormonal urges, commonly associated with those used for breeding.
Still going to be called XCOM, huh? :/
Hm... Guessing that this is one use only? Because I've got 60 dollars worth of stuff I want to trade in, so I'm guessing I would only get it once (for a total of $80), instead of being able to get double the amount and get $120?
Aw, and here I was, hoping that one of Rhode Island's chief industries was housewife helpers. =C
