... I'm not too sure I want to know the difference. :/

The fact that the only business leader who opposed this deal was the guy in charge of a vibrator manufacturer is way more funny to me than it should be...
Seriously? You're pulling the "They should have waited" card? How the hell would they have known that the game they wanted was in existence when all we had was a FPS using an old name to try and get more money. you can't HONESTLY blame the fans for not buying whatever the company was peddling >_>
Well, I think most suits use women, not just in Japan. I know that most of the people in Disney costumes in Disney World are young women, for example. In fact, my brother's girlfriend used to be Pluto.
Well it didn't before...
Well, Kotaku reported that 2K games registered domains for "The bureau" and "What happened in 62?", hinting that they'll be renaming it The Bureau. So looks more like they're just changing it into a completely new IP.
I thought it was supposed to take place in a different universe anyway?
They're probably just dropping the XCOM name instead of simply canceling it outright. So you'll still be able to play it, just not called XCOM.
Would you still think that it should be canceled in the (very likely) case that they're dropping the XCOM name?
You should mention what you reported on in SuperAnnutation, that 2K has registered websites for "The Bureau" and "What happened in 62?" (the year this game takes place), which implies this is just a re-branding and not a cancellation. Just saiyan :p
Take my money
Eh, it's just a theory, didn't get it from any voxophones or anything
He cast his parent company in a bad light and forced them to have to go through incredible PR after he made an "oopsie".
Aw, you beat me. :(
Thought this might happen. After all, Disney wants to distance itself from Violent Videogames, which 1313 definitely was. Also, they probably don't want to make big, "Core" games anymore. No real money for them, comparatively.
... Seriously? You're not playing this game just because it's a completely new story?
I was just tricked into thinking the Naruto anime would go back to canon at the end of this month.
Ah, there it is. I was wondering if it was worse than Aliens, but if he didn't play it, then ok.
I usually detest anyone who uses the word entitled... but in this case I agree.
Beyond amazing.
