A little hard to tell from the angle, but some of the newer generation of freighters and tankers are awfully impressive. The new Hyundais, for example actually have four, rotatable propulsion pods under the hull (two fore and two aft) for maximum maneuverability in tight ports. The idea is to minimize (or perhaps

“One of the things we learned is the logistical challenges we have in Eastern Europe. For example, Eastern Europe has a different gauge railroad than Western Europe does so moving supplies is a more difficult. So we are learning great lessons like that.”

Ooh that Sukhoi looks dirty. I like it.

This feels like a PR/publicity stunt patent more than anything else.

There’s a couple of them like that. Atlanta is the same way with the pits right at the exit of 4. Pretty common to see cars sliding sideways into the entrance.

This probably could've been phrased more delicately, but I get what you're trying to say.

Well, there were a handful of radicals in that generation of the family, but yeah, these folks weren't guilty of anything but being rich and Arab.

Total drag racers, but then again I think Chevelles are sublime, too! :)

Bill Lear supposedly once said that,’If it looks good it’ll fly good.’ I don't think any aircraft proves that more than the F4. Definitely one of the 10 best looking fighters of all time.

It was, however, an unfortunate demise for the last, road-legal Lincoln LS in New England.

I don’t entirely get it. The Minions (as in the little yellow guy in the gif) are likable and cute. Then the call anti-abortion activists minions. Are they saying that anti-abortion activists are likable and cute? In the gif the Minion drops the mike (a la finishes a debate with an untoppable one-liner). Are they

It’s a bit unsettling. So much of the national narrative around Dick Cheney has centered on him as an unfeeling, heartless, Machiavellian archetype. Weird to see him and the rest of the leadership looking both so lost and so human. Kind of a reminder that, despite partisan discord and the political lenses we put these

After the Lightning comes the Thunderbolt, too. It is unimpressed by your PR pageantry

Might be the Euro pedestrian safety bumpers. On a car that tiny they might look mountainous.

It might be the beer. 10 bud lights is pretty heavy duty. :p

Fake cloth tops are irksome to me. Lincoln kind of gets a pass as they’ve been doing it to the Town Cars for about 8 billion years. Glued to the sheet metal of a PT Cruiser or Hyundai Sonata, though? Just nope...

No word on whether they all only communicated by crapping out fake gold and only grunting, ‘Eh?! Eh?!’

I dunno. A medium sized bird through a jet intake can cause some shit. There’s metal parts on most drones and the batteries are explosive if mishandled (say by whirling turbofan blades). Is a catastrophic/fatal incident unlikely? Yeah. Is it impossible? Probably not.

I know it’s just math, but it only just hit me that a 50-ton tank is 100,000 pounds... Dag those things are big.
