Kickstarter is simply a failed economic system (as is early access in 99% of cases). Even major creators with an incentive not to make bad press fall to its clutches.

Fuck the overhyping, fuck the delays, fuck the shitty trailer - everything I have seen from the “gold” build is nothing short of incredible. Smooth 60fps (contrary to early reports), awesome dash mechanic, amazing music, and inventive enemies.

Personally very let down by the media for ignoring this potential masterpiece. My wife (non gamer with few exceptions) has been hounding me over this. And when no one covered at e3 I though of it as yet another indie game that’s delayed into oblivion.

PC peeps would have a clear advantage

if you got into Overwatch for the competitiveness you really shouldve just got it on PC. Otherwise I doubt it. You’re playing a Blizzard game that’s clearly built primarily for m/k with a controller, a la CS:GO (I have no idea how people play that on console)
