Licensed video game movies are always met with amazing critical acclaim. I have no idea what the negativity is for.

Skyward Sword motion controlls were not at all gimmicky,but integral to the game. The game was responsive and the enemies all had to do with how you held/swung your sword. It was original, fun, and worked. The motion controls were not at all shoehorned in at the last second. I had a blast with the game. The haters…

Huh? If it’s Doom/Unreal Tournament nostalgia you’re referring to, you’re wrong - these games are evolutions of what made these games so special. It’s not like their shoehorning in old, proven-broken gameplay systems and crutching on nostalgia. Tribes and the like are actually original fun in 2016

The whole time I was thinking that it was a sequel/reboot by the original Tribes guys. This is just thievery, my god. I don’t think I can support this in any way.

Anybody who bought The Division bought a glorified beta; a skeleton of a game. There’s so little substance that the game feels incredibly suffocating. Think of all the issues with Destiny and multiple by 100. So uninspired. The game has no idea what it wants to be. It’s a poser of an original game.

Politics has nothing to do with anything here...I agree Gawker is fast and loose with counterproductive and juvenile republican insults, but this is not one of those cases.
