I think you’re looking at this wrong...from a league perspective, Lebron signing a 1-2 year deal is great. If he blows out a knee, the league wins (don’t have to pay him forever), the interest in his “free agency” drives interest in the league and value for the networks that buy the media rights etc...etc...
