Get out was a fine movie but it was also “being John Malkovich”.... Like Literally the same movie but w/ racial overtones. While US was not what I expected and ended being riddled with plot holes, I appreciated the fresher, more original, almost twist-on-body-snatchers plot more than the movie I’ve seen 15 times.

You overestimate the audiences at these movies. Comic fans make up the minority of the audience in the big picture. The majority are MCU fans.
