I had a similar avulsion fracture in addition to a Lisfranc sprain in my foot last summer. Two surgeries and a combined four months in boots and casts and I was finally good. I watched every episode of Castle because I have bad taste in TV and I’m too lazy to seek out good stuff.

I feel like providing access to real, long-term medical care and better disability insurance would probably go a lot further toward actually helping to mitigate the problem than whatever Rog and Co. are doing at this point.
