Yep. I’m in the exact same boat, though I’ve got a year on you. (I was actually about to ask if you were actually me, but then I realized my clock ticked over another digit recently. It was only after a troubling amount of thinking that I could remember what my actual age is.)

That’s a fair point. I guess I didn’t think it would be anywhere near that kind of number for any given city all at once. Those kinds of numbers would mean a caravan of about a hundred busses, which would create quite a few logistical nightmares itself, before you even got to the strain on the city’s services.

Stories like this actually terrify me, because it’s much easier for me to believe that all of this immigration bullshit is borne of a cynicism among the GOP and the Trump administration, making this out to be a crisis when they’re well aware that it isn’t, simply to scare old white people into voting for them.
