I feel this way about certain mobile games. I loathe the outrageous microtransactions in something like Marvel Snap, frankly they ought to be illegal, but I also never personally pay for any of them and can just enjoy the game for what it is.

i still consider it one of the scariest films ever made, and that’s having rewatched it numerous times and knowing full well that it’s fiction. something about the highly believable, “here’s what it’s like to be lost in the woods” vibe which works for me.

i mean, they co-produced Akira Kurosawa’s Ran; that alone deserves some kind of reward.
