somebody shared the poster for this a while ago on my socials and i legit thought it was a mock-up parody poster like “what if Dreamworks made Little Mermaid”.

bear in mind that they’re based in Poland, which isn’t exactly a bastion of progressive values. It’s not so surprising to me that they’d handle these themes poorly (and neither is it surprising that they’d be surprised when gamers in Western countries are offended by their poor work).

There are several great Spider-Man adjacent Latinx characters, beginning (obv) with Miles Morales and on through Aña Corazón/Araña. I’d even be fine with handing Bad Bunny the live-action Spider-Man 2099 (Miguel O’Hara) if Oscar Isaac isn’t around.
