To be fair, the comic books have rarely done a great job of maintaining consistent continuity between titles. Heck, even when big universe-shattering events happen, there are several series that seem to not be aware of it.

On the other hand, Marvel’s non-MCU/non-XCU Legion has quietly carved itself a spot as maybe the best show on television.

I find it so infuriating that so many people can look at this racist, sexist, homophobic, grossly unequal society in which we live and conclude that progressive forces have somehow insidiously taken control.

The great failing of Stephen Colbert is that he refuses to engage substantively with his interview subjects. There’s a lot of quick banter, and great jokes, but it never slows down for a real conversation.

I am blown away by how great an idea this is - and how earnest.

When Scandal started it was radical because it was one of the first shows to put an imperfect, flawed black woman in the spotlight.
